Internship Pius X
My name is Timo, and I find it interesting how machines work, how you program them and how to put them together. When I saw chess pieces at the internship market my interest was immediately piqued there I was explained how they made it and that made my interest in it grow even more and eventually I chose my 3 day internship as marketing.
This involved us looking along on the shop floor and explaining what the machines did and what the employees had to do to do this. We made posters and new sheets for the screen in the canteen. Time passed far too quickly and I wish the internship had lasted a little longer, because I still have a lot to discover in this field. The internship gave me a good picture of marketing because of this I will probably choose a subject that deals with this.
I learned a lot, did a lot and discovered a lot of new things.
HAVO internship
My name is Bas and as a 3 havo student I had to intern 3 days at a company for school. With my friend Timo we went to Brans first and ended up doing an internship there for 3 days. On the first day we got to look through the company and interview the different jobs about what they did at Brans. We had chosen marketing and went to work the second day.
In canva, we got to create several pages that ended up on the board in the cafeteria. That was super! We spent quite a long time doing that, so between breaks we had a nice cup of hot chocolate.
At the end of the second day, we got to work on a video about a product to advertise. That was the hard part though because we kept not getting there. In the end we succeeded because of the help we got.
Third day we had treated the crew to a piece of cake as a thank you for letting us intern.
In short: Super fun internship, learned a lot about marketing and the other professions they have, highly recommended!
